Well, hello! I heart paper, you heart paper, We Heart Paper! A giveaway

You may recall, a while back, my getting some great weekend mail, including some fabulous notecards from We Heart Paper. It probably goes without saying at this point that I love letterpress. I love the deeply indented lines and crisp, decisiveness, yet refinement and delicacy of letterpress designs. There is something simply luxurious about a beautifully done letterpress design...which is why I love the work of We Heart Paper. It is the best kind of letterpress - accessible but oh so well done. Swoon.

When Janie, proprietress extraordinaire, extended the incredible generosity to do a giveaway I jumped on the chance...then got busy, such is life. But I'm so glad I did!

hello1

While Janie has been busy in her own life as well and soon making a big move (hooray for life-altering changes and new discoveries!), there have been changes here as well. Like what? Well, mainly readership. Through some odd twist of fate and happenstance a post I thought twice, no three times, about writing went, I guess you could say, viral.

hello2

I was taken entirely by surprise. In a single day I surpassed months worth of readership. Since then I've waited for the bottom to fall out...but it hasn't. You stayed. You came and you stayed! I'm so thrilled!

Funny enough the surge in readership also came when I rededicated myself to the purpose of this site - to pursue my passions, to create and celebrate a positive outlook on life, to share a slice of my life, and to grow, constantly, consistently in creativity. Hopefully all of that comes while inspiring you, encouraging you to embrace an attitude of "yay", and offering something additive to your life. I truly believe the world is a jaw-dropingly amazing place, but sometimes it takes an active pursuit to embrace fully.

hello4

So, yep, I got busy...but now I can offer Janie's beautiful cards, in the oh-so-appropriate "Hello" design to welcome you, readers old and new. Welcome, welcome! Thank you so much for sharing this time and space with me - you can't know how much it means to me that you are willing to share part of your day, part of your daily life with me.

If you would like to enter the giveaway for a pack of We Heart Paper's beautiful "Hello" notecards (the perfect size, I might add), then go ahead and give me some feedback below - features you like (or dislike, that's ok too, just try to be a little nice to me please), things you want to see more of, or just say hello!

While I would love it if you would give a follow on Twitter or Facebook it won't earn you any extra credit or chances...

But, for +1 chance go ahead and give We Heart Paper a twitter follow.

Commenting closes one week from today, on May 12th at midnight. From there I'll use a random number generator to draw a winner and announce it here!

Good luck! Thank you again, and welcome! Hello!

Congratulations on the new readers, how great for you to have a flock of new people come visit you here! I actually don't have any feedback for your blog, I've always liked the space you have here: the clean design and simple colours are something I keep in mind when I'm working on my own blog, along with the other blog designs that inspire me :) Please enter me into your giveaway, I'd love a chance to win these lovely notecards!

Hooray! Well, your blog (as well as yourself) rocks, so it makes sense.

What would I love to see more of . . . well, I love any sort of tutorial. Oh, and I liked the post where you & the bebe went to go get eggs. Maybe something at the farmer's market, or A Day In The Life?

I suppose I'm looking for something on the personal end, without crossing boundaries, you know? I love that you share a lot about yourself even when you're writing about something else - but I want even more! I'm greedy like that.

And I would love to win those cards. But whether I do or don't, that's my feedback.

I am so utterly thrilled for you that your readership is so high! *waves hello to all the other faithful fans and followers* I have noticed that you are all over craftgawker and foodgawker these days. And rightfully so. Your tutorials and recipes are awesome.

I'm not sure if this feedback is to you or to Blogger, but recently I am finally able to comment on your blog! Like anytime I want to and not just at random times. This is very exciting because I am a wordy gal and I love to ramble on and on at you. ;o)

I always love to see your domestic ventures. Your blogs about gardening, preserving food, organizing, cleaning etc. all get me going. I gain a lot of momentum from those. I would LOVE to see a progression of posts of your garden from seedlings to harvest. I actually search your image bank for lovely pics of veggies and growing things when I want to relax sometimes.

I also gobble up your introspective posts (like the tears in yoga post recently). I love transparency in people. And in people I care about deeply. . . well, it's just that much more meaningful.

Your site is great! I love the ideas and the creativity and your sweet simple style. Also, the recipes are really appreciated! There will be one lucky winner and I sure hope its me!

You have inspired me to make use of all that useless junk mail I get regularly. If I make envelopes out of them then maybe they won't be so useless and such a waste of paper. So I thank you for sharing your creativity. ;D

Here's what I like, no love, about you and your blog. You're true. When you first tweeted me (remember, unpaper towels??), I realized that I had found a kindred spirit. I'm floundering in my blogging, but you seem to keep plugging away--good girl! I love creative, eco-friendly people, and you're at the top of my list!

I like how you keep posts simple and clean: not too many ideas to ponder or feel intimidted by within each post. I also like how you share your recipes and ideas with your readers, and I like your take on things. Your appreciation of and enthusiasm for -- kindness, simplicity and quality ingredients (whether in cooking, crafts or day-to-day life) -- shines through your writing/photos and helps get my own ideas flowing. Thanks!
