Weekend Reads: emagazines edition

I do love a good long lingering weekend read. Thought I would pass on a few that have tickled my fancy. All e-magazines, all lovely. I'm a Luddite by nature so the conversion to online reading wasn't a fast or easy one for me but, a few impeccable publications have converted me entirely. I hope you'll enjoy with a cup of tea, coffee, wine, some scones, bagels, cheese, etc...or just savor the pages as they are:

Sweet Paul completely and totally blew me away when I first saw it. The food styling is fabulous, the content inspired – it's everything I want to be when I grow up. I'm enthralled with pretty much every element of the publication.

There are two issues currently available: Spring 2010 and Fall 2010. Read them both, trust me.

Covet Garden is a bit more interior based but has lovely gift ideas and an abundance of sunshine. Covet Garden is shorter, more digestible, and not over-the-top in presentation. It's a nice read if you are short of time or quick on inspiration.

There are two issues currently available: September 2010 and October/Current 2010 (click the image on the homepage)

Lonny is a more traditionally styled interior magazine, a bit more opulent, a bit more advertise-y but clean, modern, and great ideas.

There is six issues currently available: Current is August/September 2010 and for all others see here.

Rue just launched to rave reviews. It is young, fun, upbeat interiors and ideas. Plus they have freebies! Hurrah!

There is one issue currently available: Premier/Fall 2010

Design and Life is more art centered but does an excellent job of showcasing a variety of subjects and areas of design with a bent towards presenting things in a new or different perspective.

There are 17 issues currently available: The current issue, and the archives.

Happy reading, happy weekend!

Love these - and your takes on them! With the current onslaught of amazing e-mags like these I have to admit, I feel a little overwhelmed (and wish they were in hard copy!). I recently subscribed to Anthology Mag and waiting for my copy to come in the mail - it's like the magazines above, but quarterly. I think it will supplement my Real Simple subscription nicely.

so i've never read an online magazine quite like these...but i'm kind of impressed at how neat it is :)

I'm so excited about Anthology - I can't wait for it to come out. I will admit, it is a bit cost prohibitive but with the people that are behind it it is sure to be nothing but amazing!

Krystal - isn't it amazing? I'm such a fan of magazines but they pile up and I feel pressured by them and the mess they create, negating some of the joy, but these beautiful emags make it easy to enjoy and not feel cluttered - such a great addition to life!
